Our Story Community Church of Buckeye has been a place of welcome since 1947. We're an inclusive, Christ-centered congregation, and part of the United Methodist Church. Though small, we're close-knit and passionate — and we back up our welcome with action, from Coats for Comfort to the Living Last Supper to our support of the All Faiths Community Center. Our Mission To serve God and community, that all may be one. Our Vision A place that nurtures believers, yet provides an open door to persons who neither know Jesus Christ nor have yet found a viable community of faith. Our Values
Hospitality -- We welcome everyone as they are.
Community — Belonging comes before belief.
Inclusion — An open, Christ-centered congregation for all people.
Service — Putting faith into action in Buckeye and beyond.
Generosity — Stewarding what we've been given, freely and gratefully.
Growth — Nurturing believers while staying open to who's next.
Who We Serve We serve the Buckeye community. Our congregation is made up mostly of longtime members, with a warm and growing welcome for families and newcomers of every age. Whatever season of life you're in, there's a seat for you here. Families are always welcome. Children stay for the full service, with bulletins and activities to keep them engaged. Whether you've been part of a church your whole life or you're still searching, there's room for you at CCOB. Explore our story:
