Giving is a response to God’s generosity towards us.
Everything we do and the gifts we give are focused on fulfilling Jesus’ great commission. Your financial giving changes people’s lives and helps Community Church of Buckeye (CCOB) reach out to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Giving financially also transforms you from the inside out. Over time, it cultivates a perspective in which you come to recognize that everything you possess is a blessing from God, and that because you have been so generously gifted, you are called to extend that generosity to others: to steward your resources with both wisdom and an open hand. Throughout Scripture, we see people responding to God's abundance with gratitude and action. We invite you to consider joining that tradition by contributing to CCOB.
FAQ What is stewardship? Stewardship is the practice of remembering that nothing we have is truly ours — it all belongs to God. Our finances, our possessions, and the world around us are each infused with God's grace, sustaining us in ways both seen and unseen. We are called to make good use of what we've been entrusted with: grace is not meant to be hoarded or taken for granted, but shared freely with others and invested in the work of God's kingdom. It's a countercultural practice, no doubt — yet those who embrace it often find it gives back far more than it requires.
It's often said that nothing can make God love us any less, and nothing can make God love us any more. The same is true of financial giving. We don't give out of obligation — we give out of freedom. We give because it has the power to change lives, including our own.
Why do we ask for pledges in advance? As our community grows, we are committed to planning wisely and building responsibly for the future. Each year, we develop a comprehensive ministry budget funded primarily through the generosity of our attendees and friends. Pledges made in advance are invaluable — they allow us to accurately estimate available resources and make thoughtful, faith-filled plans. If you've never given before, know that it only takes one small step to begin.
Ways to Give: You may give in person during our weekend services, drop off your gift at our offices on Tuesday through Thursday, or mail your gift to our church office.
